Collingwood Legion Museum

Honouring Service. Preserving Stories. Inspiring Generations.

Our Mission

We’re dedicated to curating and preserving a meaningful collection that reflects the contributions of our members and the broader Collingwood community. Our goals include:

  • Creating a welcoming space for reflection, learning, and connection.

  • Showcasing donated artifacts from veterans, families, and supporters.

  • Maintaining a reference library with rare and relevant materials.

  • Supporting the Legion through museum-related initiatives and rentals.

What You’ll Discover

Step into the North Atlantic Room and explore:

Military & Police Artifacts:

Uniforms, medals, documents, and personal

items donated by Ordinary, Associate, and

Affiliate members.

Legion & Ladies Auxiliary Memorabilia:

Celebrating decades of community service

and camaraderie.

Reference Library: A unique collection of books,

videos, and documents not typically found in public libraries.

Artifacts are displayed in glass cases, on walls, and even suspended from the ceiling—each piece telling its own story.

Community Connections

We proudly collaborate with:

  • Ontario Museum Society

  • Collingwood Museum

  • Simcoe County Museum

These partnerships help us preserve, share, and expand our collection through loans, exchanges, and expert guidance.

Supporting the Museum

Your support helps us thrive! Revenue from space rentals, digital image sales, and select artifact sales goes directly back into Branch #63.  Every visit, donation, and shared story helps keep our legacy alive.
