The Legion is proud to support Canadian Cadet Organizations and offers all Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers (JCR) of age of majority a one-year free membership in the Legion.

Hey there! Are you ready for an adventure? If you're aged 12-18 and love outdoor activities, action, and sports, then the Collingwood Army Cadets is the place for you!

Why Join Us? As a Collingwood Army Cadet, you'll get to experience a wide range of exciting activities that will challenge you and help you grow. You'll make new friends, develop leadership skills, and have a lot of fun along the way.

Community Involvement

As a cadet, you'll also support the local community by participating in citizenship events organized by the Army Cadet Corps. You'll volunteer with the Legion Poppy Campaign, support our Veterans, and take active roles in commemorative ceremonies across Canada.

The Legion is proud to support Canadian Cadet Organizations and offers all Cadets and Junior Canadian Rangers (JCR) a one-year free membership. The Legion also sponsors the Cadet Medal of Excellence, which honors outstanding cadets for their contributions to citizenship.

What Do We Do? We offer unique opportunities that you won't find anywhere else. Here's a taste of what you can expect:

Expeditions: Learn how to travel long distances in various environments and take care of your field equipment. You might even get to try mountaineering, caving, and white-water rafting!

Physical Fitness: Enjoy sports activities like climbing, mountain biking, and rafting. We also offer summer camps to help you improve your skills, and some cadets even get to participate in a parachuting course.

Survival Skills: Train in the bush during both summer and winter. You'll learn how to build shelters, make a fire, find water, and survive using what nature has to offer.

Navigation: Master the use of maps, compasses, GPS technology, and even the stars to find your way in the wilderness.
