Join Us for the Veterans Crosswalk Dedication
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 63 and the Town of Collingwood invite the community to attend the official dedication of the new Veterans Crosswalk at the Collingwood Museum on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.
This special project was created to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of Canadian Veterans and military personnel, while providing a lasting symbol of remembrance in the heart of our community. Situated between the historic Collingwood Museum and the Cenotaph, the crosswalk serves as a meaningful connection between Collingwood's military history and our ongoing commitment to remembering those who served.
As part of this memorable ceremony, 101-year-old Second World War Veteran Susanne de Souza will have the honour of becoming the first person to walk across the Veterans Crosswalk.
